Middle May Sunday...

 

It's hazy again this morning, but this time it's bright.  Bright haze is hard to look at, it almost glows.  This is the 3rd of 5 Sundays this month.  There will be shopping, errands, bill paying & an appointment this week.   More might pop up, but that's what's on the schedule for us at the moment.

It's getting warmer.  I should finish seasonal stuff this week.  Too bad, the rest of the month looks to be stormy or dreary.  I'm over clouds for a while.  I want some sunlight.

Down Thursday...

 

It's bright & warmer.  It could be a nothing day, that'd be nice.  A friend's over for a bit.  But other than that, there's nothing happening for us.  It'd be nice if it stays that way.

The back half of the month will be busier.  I have a  regular medical check up.  Then the next week, I have a dental cleaning.   Other than normal stuff, that should be it.

Maybe Warming...

 

It may finally be getting warmer & staying for a while.  There aren't any 50s currently in the forecast.  I can start opening windows & cleaning blankets.  Of course warmer temps come with their own issues, but I typically handle those better.

There wasn't much for articles this morning.  That's been an issue since orange stain came back & will probably be the case for some time.  I think that man & his ilk have every intention of setting the fight against HIV back to the 80s.

Hail...

 

It stormed again last night.   It was abrupt & not really on the forecast until right before.  It rained about 0.5", but hail was the issue.  We can go for years without any serious hail.  Maybe we get some sleet or pea sized hail, but not lately.   This was the 3rd time in a couple of weeks we've had storms with notable hail.  People east of us got much larger hailstones & the storm did some damage.  This hail BS can go elsewhere.

That's about it this morning.  It should start warming up some.  It's bright this morning.  I actually got started on washing some seasonal things to be put away.  Maybe I'll get through more this week.

Still A Lot...

 

There's been so much on our plates for so long.  Things shift, but no space really clears.  Yesterday's net outage shouldn't have got to me as bad as it did, but I was already just skating by.  It was just another stupid thing someone or something else inflicted on us.  

This is going to be a busy week & we have so much to handle.   Spring stuff is beginning & I don't know what we'll do about that.  The problem is I can't just break for a while.  Everything else is happening at the same time.   Every time I've broken in the recent past, I've wound up in the hospital.   Those trips may have kept me going, but they only delayed what was happening at home.

2026 is wearing me out & it's only March.  The temp swings are hard.  Less than 2 weeks ago, the overnights were freezing.  It's the low 90°s for this weekend.  Add all the pollen & it's a little rough.

Warmer Trend...

 

It's been warmer the last couple of days.  There weren't drips or stoves turned on.  It was still chilly in the morning, but nothing that couldn't be heated back rather quickly.  We had the heaters for a bit yesterday morning, this morning's the same.  Not having heaters on overnight makes my breathing so much easier.

So far, we don't have any plans for today.  I hope things stay quiet.   That's all for now.

Maybe Warmer...

 

It's supposed to get above freezing in the next hour.  It'll be nice to turn off the dripping faucets.  This weather & the heaters have been hard on my breathing, skin & eyes.  My hands are red & there's been a few nosebleeds.  I hate cold weather.  

The next few days should be above freezing.  We'll still need drips & stoves at night, but maybe not all day long.  That'd help my breathing out a lot.   There's still 40 days until the time change.  But the light's staying a bit longer every day.  Winter just sucks.

I'm going to try shopping today.  We'll see how that goes.  Tomorrow will be trash day & then on Thursday my roomie has an appointment.

Last Warmish Day...

 

It's supposed to be seasonally warm today.  Then it's supposed to nosedive until the start of next week.  We're supposed to get below 0°.  No one needed that.  It certainly wasn't wanted in this house.

Articles were limited again this morning.  I'm not surprised.  Attentions are focused on the weather, Florida's ADAP BS & the orange asshat.

Today could get hot.  Maybe it'll burn off more of the humidity.   It's been very muggy lately.   The lawn guy came yesterday & mowed.  The cut grass & debris have gotten to me a bit.  It wasn't as bad as the last mow, but the grass wasn't as high.

It's brighter & supposed to be warmer today.  Tomorrow will drop back down to a high seasonal temp & things should settle for a bit.  There may be storms this weekend.  

We don't have much planned today.  It's just some errands & stuff.  A Windows update has been fighting with my antivirus.  I may have found a work around.

Almost, But Not....

 

I thought I might have found some interesting articles this morning.  I did not.  I found links to research abstracts.  Abstracts can be great if you're doing serious research & want to see if the piece is right for you.  But for my blog, they're generally useless.  Abstracts are very brief usually no more 3 paragraphs, often less.  They're the thesis of a work that is generally in a journal that's either not on the web or behind a paywall.  Either way, not helpful for the average user.  I don't mind abstracts in search results, I mind them not being labelled.

The weather shifted again.  The next few days will be warmer.  This morning is very humid.  Maybe that'll burn off as the day warms up.

Lingering Grey Morning...

 

It's warmer, but also cloudy.  The rest of the month looks to be dark & stormy.  I hope it doesn't hit hard & isn't it just dismal for the remainder of April.  Yesterday's impromptu appointment went well, but was a little tiring & threw us off a bit.  

So far this morning is going well enough & other than having a friend over, nothing much is planned.  It'd be nice if that held.  We don't need more today.

Sunny March Morning...

 

It's a bright, but still chilly, morning.  This level of light would've made yesterday a lot easier.  I can't be surprised at the temps, technically it's still Winter.  The forecast calls for some warmer days, with nights still dipping into the 40s.  The covers stay for now. 

Other than regular stuff, I don't have anything scheduled this week.  Hopefully, nothing pops up to make things difficult.  An easy week would be appreciated.

Surfacing...

 

We had a decent outing yesterday, most of my labs are in & it's been more springish.  I've felt fairly good during the last couple of days.  But once the sun went down, I didn't.   I've been fairly nervous & rattled.  

This has been a rough season.  I haven't handled the dark, cold & wet well.  For the last few years, my major SAD issues haven't begun until late February to early March.  

Everything started earlier this time & it's been hard.  I don't think I was registering how severe this had been until we had a few days of light.  I started to relax some & the mess of seasonal anxiety rose up.  This entire Winter has been fraught to nerve wracking.  Suddenly, not having to hold it together so much, things are rising up & slipping.

Hopefully with more light & warmth this will pass sooner than later.  I need to be past this.  Life's rough enough without all this seasonal baggage.

Steps...

 

Things are moving forward for now.  My labs were drawn yesterday.  Over half of the results are back as expected.  I'm still waiting on the actual HIV related tests.  

I called the pharmacy & they said they could handle my Dovato again.  They'll need to have the script transferred back to them.  I'll call later & see if that went through.  If so, I should pick that up on Monday.

It is supposed to get into the 50s today.  That'll feel so much warmer.  15 days until the time change happens.  

Things are looking a little better for the moment.  I'm sure something else challenging will pop up soon.  But, for now, maybe I can be a little bit more at ease.

Movement...

 

There's some movement in things.  My lab orders came in late yesterday.  I'll get them handled this morning.  It's supposed to get over freezing today.  We'll need faucets dripping tonight.  After that, it should be above freezing.

I should find out which pharmacy I'll have to use tomorrow.   At least then I can place my order.  I need to get this handled. 

The cold, dark & heaters have been rough on me.  I need things to get warmer & brighter.  All of this is wearing me down.

Cloudy Midweek...

 

Even though it's been warmer, this hasn't been an easy week for me.  There has been so much tree cutting & trimming, allergens are creeping back up & there's been a lot of wind.  These things are killing my sinuses.  

It's been warm enough at night that I'm having to juggle cover levels.  I'm waking too warm & dehydrated.  It's tanking my blood pressure in the morning.  

Harder than that though is the lack of light.  My SAD issues can creep in quick these days.  It's been rough & the remainder of this week is supposed to be dreary.

Not Much Friday...

 

It was bright & cold this morning.  It's supposed to be warm enough tonight that we won't need to leave the tap dripping.  The light is slowly coming back & it's a little warmer.   But we can't forget that February can be our worst month around here.  Even March can be cold & have snow.

It's a normal shopping day.  Hopefully, it stays that way.  I'm too cold for much more. 

There were some articles on vaccines, but most of them were either above lay level or too early in development to be interesting.  Works like this that are going to the general public, should be rewritten to be easily comprehensible for non-professionals.  If  your work is still in the maybes & mights stage, it's too early to publish.

Warming Maybe....

 

The frigid front that dumped snow on Louisiana & Florida is moving out.  We didn't get snow this round, but we got a cold.  Still not as cold as some places on the Gulf.  Some nights will still be under freezing, but the days should be considerably warmer. 

I know we need the cold to kill off snow bugs & grass.  But it never seems to succeed at that.  There's just as many annoying bugs & grass every Spring.  I'll never be a fan of Winter.  It's just too hard on me.
