We have shopping & some errands today. There won't be any mail due to President's Day. Later in the week I'll need to get labs drawn for telemedicine. We'll also have to drop off the van again to see if they can fix it.

It's gusty this 3rd November Tuesday. The flying debris isn't helping my head. We don't have much planned for today. There are some errands & outings tomorrow. Thursday I have a check up in town.
There weren't many articles to work with today. Most the news was about Lenacapavir rolling out in Africa. The rest is about the orange stain.

On top of normal Friday things, we have other errands. The 1st bill of next month has arrived & has to be paid. The gas company always wants their payment early. Its easier just to handle it when it gets here. I also need to get my last hepatitis shot. Past that, there's checking mail, shopping & getting lunch.
The hard part of today, is that I have to take the kitten into the vet. He, Machen, has been acting off for over a week. There's been a lot of stillness & sleeping. At 1st we thought it was the seasonal change & allergies. But, he hasn't eaten anything notable since Tuesday & doesn't seem to be drinking his water either. The litter box is pretty empty. He's moving his jaw weird, drooling, has so tiny blood specks on his fur & he stinks. He's mostly been retreating. If this isn't something easy like an infection or dental issue, this could be his last morning. I hope not.

We're starting the 3rd week of May. It's starting to get warm & TV shows are ending already. This was a dud season. It's supposed to be stormy this week. We don't need any severe weather.
The issue affecting my roomie is ongoing & there isn't a lot of news at the moment. It's just waiting to see how things go. At this time, I think a quick resolve whichever way would be the best for those concerned. Little good will come from this lingering.

It got cold again. I guess it remembered we're still in January. It's not bad, but we still had to leave the faucets dripping & will probably have to for the remainder of the month.
It's the 3rd Friday of 2023. We're ⅔ the way through January. I'm not sure how much better this year will be than last. It'd be nice if the answer to the query was, "A lot".
We'll go shopping here in a bit. It's time get stuff for the weekend. It'd be nice to find something new & interesting.

This article & many others provided details about a woman who has become the 3rd person to be cured of HIV. It had to do with a transplant due to leukemia. The articles are basically the same with different levels of jargon. This is still early, so it's going to be in the news for some time.
