1 Year Out...

Last year, on December 27th, I woke after a  really bad night & was very sick.  It progressed until the 30th, when I went to the clinic.  I was sent to the hospital for pneumonia.  It was pretty awful & now we're wondering if  it  was COVID19.  My symptoms better fit that, than pneumonia.  I got myself out of there on New Year's  Eve.  It took forever to recover.

It's nearly the end of 2020 & I'm trying not to get ill.  No more hospital trips. If what I had was even a minor case of COVID, you don't want that bug.  Whatever I had was far harder on me than any pneumonia I'd dealt with before.

Let's wrap up 2020.  Take care & be safe.

BTW - It's the last trash day of the year.

OW...

This pneumonia crap has left me in pain from coughing.  Yesterday evening was fairly hellish.  I barely managed to set up in the living room.   It's better this morning, but could be back later.  I'll take more ibuprofen & cough syrup.  Hopefully, that will manage the cough & pain.

This sucks, take care.

New Year's Eve....

I'm back.  At least the vaccinations help me lessen intensity of the pneumonia.   The hospital sucked.  Most the people were fine, but the building was in poor shape & made uncomfortable.  I managed to get my way out & go home.  That's NYE.

Post for Dec. 30...

Woke feeling worse & went in to see the doctor.  I was announced, yet again, I have pneumonia.   It wasn't the same type as last time.  I was admitted to the hospital.

This is exhausting, painful & aggravating.

Rainy Day...

It looks to rain off & on all day.  It's not been too heavy, but it's been fairly constant.  Other than the dismal light, I'm glad we're getting the rain.  Maybe some of the pollen will get washed away.  Other than catching up on some Netflix, I have little to do today.

It's strange to still feel like I'm recovering from my illness.   Depending on the severity of the pneumonia & other personal factors, recovery can take several weeks to a few months.  Well, that sucks.  I've been out of the hospital since the end of March & I'm still feeling off.  Not horrible, but maybe working at 60% most of the time.  That can plummet quick if I overdo it or get stressed.

So far pneumonia has got HIV beat hands down.  I think it'd kill you quicker.
