Another Grey Morning...

 

It's gloomy here again.  Often it's only getting bright a little before sundown.  A lot of good that does.   I hate these mornings.  I'm trying to get myself going & these clouds are making everything dreary.  They just linger making it muggy.

I'm through about half of the Winter wash.  I'll finish the rest of it this week.  Hopefully, it doesn't cool down again, but the rest of the month has storms in the forecast.  

It was warm enough for me to use a fan for the 1st time overnight.   It was a little much & I'll have to watch when I use it as humid as it's been.  I don't need to catch a cold.  I mainly used it to move some stuffy air & buffer outside noise.

Hail...

 

It stormed again last night.   It was abrupt & not really on the forecast until right before.  It rained about 0.5", but hail was the issue.  We can go for years without any serious hail.  Maybe we get some sleet or pea sized hail, but not lately.   This was the 3rd time in a couple of weeks we've had storms with notable hail.  People east of us got much larger hailstones & the storm did some damage.  This hail BS can go elsewhere.

That's about it this morning.  It should start warming up some.  It's bright this morning.  I actually got started on washing some seasonal things to be put away.  Maybe I'll get through more this week.

May Monthly Stuff...

 

It'll be a bit of busy day for us.  I need to get through my morning stuff & get cleaned up.   Then I'll need to eat & get trash to the curb.  It's also time to handle the 1st of the month stuff, errands & bills.  There weren't any new articles so that's not on the table today.  It's bright & warming up.   This could be the end of the 40s.  If so, I could finish up some winter cleaning soon.  I'll give it a bit to make sure it doesn't flip back again.  I've already started trying to wash things over a month ago.  Maybe this time it'll take.

Adjusting...

 

I'm getting better.  I'm also having to adjust to the new season's temps & how I sleep.  It was warm & muggy last night.  It'll be warm today, then rain/storm, then cool off for a few days.  The cooler days are on the way out.   Finally, these blankets can get washed.

Rough Start...

 

I mentioned yesterday some of November's drama rolled over into the new month.  We finally resolved  what we could of it on our end & sat back.  Of course, we relaxed a bit too soon.  Later that afternoon, the washing machine breaks.  It had a loadful of clothes in a basin full of dirty water.  Our regular fix it guy wasn't answering.  We managed to get someone else out to fix the thing.  It was a stressful night again.  We plan on doing as little as possible the next couple of days.  Maybe we can recover a bit.

Remainders...

I seem to be getting past the worst of the sickness.  Now, it's on to all those aches & pains hiding underneath.  The smaller pains & issues that got overwhelmed with the illness.  Still, it's progress.  I'd like to say it's a good day, but that called into question when I went to wash some clothes from this sick period.  The agitator on the washer has nearly died.  I called the repairmen, we'll see what they say.  I hope it's fixable.  If not, we'll need another washer.
