According to this announcement, the FDA has approved the new drug, Trivcay. It's an integrase inhibitor. Other than being a newly apporved medication, I'm not sure what else it brings to the table. However, having another drug to use in the battle versus HIV is still very notable. GlaxoSmithKline is producing the med. I haven't heard when it will hit the market are any thing on it's efficacy. This is going to be another wait & see thing.
