I live in a poor household. 2 disabled people don't make much & have to watch the pennies. Yesterday, it hit 95 F or higher & was humid. It was unpleasant. It was our 1st day of the season to turn on the AC.
It was nice to have it back & the cats love it. They hover around the AC. But, we have to be careful with it. The AC isn't cheap to run. Summer is always a balancing act between living & affording. I know others have it worse. Not to be cruel or unkind. But, there's nothing I can do about their situation. I can barely handle mine.
