Nothing much is going today. Somehow it's a rather pleasant weather day on this 5th day of July. We're both a little worn out & frazzled by the ongoing events in our lives. A lot of people we know are having serious bad tidings come to their doors. It sucks.
Last night was a nice diversion. We sat on the porch & watched the town's fireworks display. It wasn't quite as big as last year's, but it was still fun. Even with all the bugs, smokes & noise, it was nice to have our our 4th of July ritual continue. Why buy the fireworks when we can watch theirs?
